Our direct ancestor. Conquered Makhiala (Jhelum). Founded Makhiala, Watli, and Khata Khushab branches. His descendants still rule Kusak Fort.

Raja Bhir Khan (~1220)

Elder son. Ruled Malot Fort, Chakwal. Ancestor of the Ranial Janjuas of Rawalpindi and the Dhamial branch.

Raja Kala Khan (~1228)

Became Sultan Ahmed Sani after embracing Islam. Ruler of Kahuta, Rawalpindi. Tomb at Kahuta. 60+ villages.

Raja Khakha Khan (~1230)

Conquered upper Jhelum Valley of Kashmir. Khakha Rajputs in Muzaffarabad still bear his name. Resisted Mughals, Afghans & Sikhs.

Raja Tanoli Khan (~1230)

Extended Janjua rule into Hazara (Amb). His descendants became the independent Tanaoli tribe of Hazara.
